Obesity and type 2 diabetes have long been linked. This video shows evidence that both are related to poor sleep or lack of sleep.

The key piece of information is that even perfectly health young people started to overeat and had prediabetes with only one week of poor sleep. A large majority of people in the United States sleep poorly or get too little sleep.
